Only a portion of Jews today accept this, and thereby the remainder, called Jews still today, are reproached as "They will not accept it as true that they murdered God, whereas we admit it and have been cleansed of that guilt".

Freud concludes his investigation, with s summary of what he has discovered. Whilst the question of how the Jewish people have acquired the characteristics that distinguish them, has been touched on, less light has been thrown on the problem of how it is that they have been able to retain their individuality till the present day. However Freud can confidently assert that he has made a good start into these areas for future investigators.
